About Me

I grew up in Orillia, ON with my second home being Hardwood Ski and Bike where my passion for mountain biking and Nordic skiing began.

Currently, I spend the summers at home in between my travels across Canada and the World for training and racing on my bike!  During the fall and winter months I am in Hamilton, ON attending McMaster University as I complete my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology.

The Trek Canada Mountain Bike Team has been my 'extended family' for 4 years now, and each year I have the best support for training and racing thanks to Trek Store Toronto and Barry Near.

I am a proud ambassador for Smith Optics, Fast & Female Organization, and I am a member of the Mountain Bike NextGen development team.

At school, I am on the varsity XC running team as I compete in OUA and CIS championships with the McMaster girls team in the fall.

I have grown up racing competitively in both cycling and XC skiing, and this past year I decided to focus on pursuing my athletic career in mountain biking.  However, I still absolutely love training and racing for skiing, and I plan on continuing to bike and ski for the rest of my life.

When I'm not biking, skiing, or running... what else do I spend my time doing?! I love to slackline, bake (I'm a major foodie), do yoga, read, play piano, draw, go to my cottage, and obviously spend lots of time with family and friends!

My favourite quote  is, “You are only as strong as your weakest link.” It gives me motivation and constantly reminds me there is always something to improve on; may it be logs in biking, classic technique in skiing, landing a new slackline trick, or just being a better person.
